Experience
I have tutored dozens of student in AP Biology; I taught public high school biology, chemistry and physical science for 14 years. I am an Associate Professor of Biology Education at a public university in the southeast U.S. where I mentor, teach and supervise new science teachers for grades 6-12. I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults, helping them understand science. I have great people skills, am a clear communicator and great encourager. I am very enthusiastic about learning science and can "make it real" conversationally. I'm an effective (published) writer and a career educator. Helping people motivates me.
