I tutored elementary school students in my neighborhood all throughout high school. I volunteered in a Kindergarten classroom at Hollydale Elementary in Marietta,where I worked with students on sight words, handwriting,spelling, and basic math. I volunteered in a fourth grade classroom at Chalker Elementary in Kennesaw, where I worked one-on-one with a student. I helped him with organizational skills. I volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club in Marietta, where I tutor students between the ages of five and ten and help them with their homework. I am a Sunday School teacher in the nursery at my church where I work with children from infants to age five. Because I am an education major, I have and am currently taking several education courses; some general, and some Early Childhood-specific.
