Colin B.
Private tutor in Kennesaw, GA
Education
I graduated Georgia Tech in Spring 2015 with high honors and a degree in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Energy Systems
Experience
I tutored my peers in high school in a number of subjects including math, physics and chemistry. In college I have participated in a community outreach program helping middle schoolers at Bright Futures Academy and I have had several clients through UniversityTutor all of whom met their academic goals. I scored a 35 on my ACT, 2280 on my SAT, and an 800 on the Physics and Math 2 SAT IIs. I scored a 5 on AP tests for Physics C (Newtonian Mechanics and Electricity/Magnetism), Calc AB/BC, European History, US History, English Comp and Lit, English Comp and Lang, and Macroeconomics In school I excelled in physics, math, and engineering courses and I specialized in alternative energy. My favorite part of tutoring is seeing the moment when a concept clicks for a student. Often, the issue is not that the topic is too difficult or complicated but just that the student needs a different way of looking at it to understand. I love being able to provide that different perspective and see the student realize that they can do it.
