ExperienceI think part of what makes teaching such a wonderful and useful profession is that it is a hugely collaborative activity. One person alone cannot achieve nearly as much as a group of people all working on the same problem, and in order to bring fresh new perspectives into the equation we must teach as many people as possible. I am currently in my senior year at Kennesaw State University, and I am majoring in biology. During my time at college, I have had some amazing opportunities to tutor all sorts of students. Some of my most memorable experiences were spent tutoring through the Student Athlete Success Services Office. My goal is to eventually obtain a doctorate and work as a professional research scientist, and I hope to find time to fit in opportunities to tutor some amazing students. I am able to teach a wide variety of math subjects such as elementary and middle school math, and all levels of algebra. Since science are my focus of study, I am also more than qualified to teach earth sciences, environmental sciences, various levels of chemistry, various levels of biology, evolution, genetics, and many others. In addition, I can help students study for a wide range of standardized tests, and I have experience with social studies, English, and many other subjects unrelated to math or science.
