I graduated with an Aerospace Engineering degree from Georgia Tech. As geeks go, though, I am a bit outside what you would expect. I worked as a resident assistant in a dorm on campus and was involved in the Air Force ROTC. I get sincere joy in being around and working with others. That's why I want to leverage my academic background and overall experience as a tutor. Given my degree, it should not be a surprise that I enjoy math and spent a lot of time studying it. I also invested considerable time in working with others so they could do well in the subject. It is important to me that a student do more than just figure out how to solve a problem. To get the real value of tutoring, a student needs to learn why a solution works the way it does. Then, they have the knowledge and confidence to apply it to other problems. I can tutor in subjects like Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1 - 3, Geometry, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Trig, Physics, and Russian. I can also assist with Essay Editing, Physical Science, Public Speaking, and Multivariable Calculus. If you are studying for the PSAT, SAT, or ACT, I can assist in your preparation with that as well. I live in Kennesaw, Georgia. I enjoy flying and playing tennis and video games. I also like whitewater rafting and kayaking.
